Introduction to Tony Recommends Stuff

Hello dear reader,

Thanks for checking out my blog. This blog has been inspired by a friend who noticed my incessant use of the phrase, “… , I highly recommend it.”

And so I decided to try my hand at writing some recommendations of stuff that I actually enjoy. Be it a restaurant or maybe this very platform I’m using to write my blog on.

I intend to structure these posts as follows (inspired by many other weekly newsletters such as Sunday Snippets by Ali Abdaal):

1. A few paragraphs one main recommendation
2. A list of other little recommendations

Although initially I hope to write weekly, I don’t intent to keep it up unless it is beneficial both to me and to my reader(s). Same goes for the structure of the posts as well.

I look forward to giving you my first recommendation later this week. It’s likely to be a post on a Splitwise alternative called Spliit which we used on a recent weekend away with friends.
